
Most of you might be heard of the all new security feature customization from Google called "OEM Unlocking". This is a feature added by Google for android devices with lollipop 5.0 or above firmware.
Who needs "OEM Unlocking"? You don't need to know anything about "OEM Unlocking" or either perform it if you are not a person who wants to explore maximum, this is mainly for those who likes to get the most out of it. If you are going to root or unlock bootloader of your favourite android smartphone then you need to know "OEM Unlocking" for sure, so lets proceed.
Steps to perform "OEM Unlocking" on your Android Smartphone running on Lollipop 5.0 or higher
1. First you need to enable "Developer Options" on your Android Smartphone. For that goto Settings>About phone (it may be different different branded phones, but the idea is the same), and tap on the “Build number” 10 times until you get a message that you are a “developer".
2. Now tap on the newly added option in the settings menu, the "Developer Options". Now you will be able to see somewhat similar page like the one given below;

3). Now tap on "OEM unlocking" and you will get a popup warning as shown below, just ignore it and proceed.


That's it friends, you have successfully performed "OEM unlocking" on your Android Smartphone.
